1954 FOUNDED

60 COLLECTIONS

Flaminia makes ceramics in Civita Castellana, with Giulio Cappellini as art director. Its basins are placed like objects: a bowl on a column, on a countertop, on the floor.

> Flaminia was founded by 23 workers: their strike for a pay rise failed, so they started their own business.

That was in 1954 in Civita Castellana, in the province of Viterbo. In January 1955 the factory produced its first sanitaryware. Today it makes basins, toilets, bidets and baths.

## Basins known by name
