Cookie policy
What we keep in your browser, what it is for and how to change your choice at any time.
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work: remembering the language, keeping a filled-in booking form, telling one session from another. Others show which materials get viewed most often — the site works exactly the same without them.
We ask for consent on your first visit. Essential cookies are always set — the site does not work without them; the other categories you switch on yourself. We keep your choice for six months and then ask again.
Which cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Your session on the site, the chosen language, submitting the visit booking form. | until the session ends |
| Essential | Your own choice in the settings window — so we do not ask again on every page. | 6 months |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_G-6QYR4VG4PQ): anonymised visit statistics — which categories and articles get opened most often. They are only set once you have agreed. | 2 years |
| Marketing | Ad platforms, to avoid showing ads to people who have already made it to the showroom. Not in use at the moment. | — |
Our website statistics
Betton counts page openings, link clicks and form actions independently of analytics cookie choices. We keep daily totals without IP addresses, contact details or a persistent visitor identifier. A random key for one page opening is deleted within 24 hours; totals are deleted after 90 days. This data is not shared with Google or Meta.
When you submit a form, we save any campaign labels from the address of that page to identify the source of your enquiry.
How to change your choice
The “Cookie settings” link sits in the footer of every page — or open the settings window right here. Cookies can also be deleted or blocked in your browser settings; some parts of the site — the language and the booking form — may then work differently than intended.
