Bolon is a woven floor: vinyl sheet in rolls, tiles and shaped modules. Tiles let you create your own pattern. We’ll show you samples at the Betton showroom.
Bolon weaves vinyl flooring at its own factory in Ulricehamn, Sweden. The company started in 1949 with the idea of weaving floors from production waste. Today the third generation of the family runs it.
Formats
- 01 Rolls Woven sheet 2 m wide, made of vinyl and chalk, including recycled material. Fire rating: Bfl-s1.
- 02 Tiles and planks 50 × 50 cm tiles and 667 × 222 mm planks. Tiles let you lay out zones, patterns and transitions.
- 03 Studio Shaped tiles: the Hexagon, the Triangle, Prism, Link and Wing. Combine them into your own floor pattern.
- 04 Acoustics and rugs Rolls and tiles with a felt backing absorb impact noise. Bolon also makes rugs from the same material.

Is Bolon carpet?
No. It’s woven vinyl flooring, made of vinyl and chalk.
Can I create my own floor pattern?
Yes, with Studio tiles: Hexagon hexagons, Triangle triangles, and the Prism, Link and Wing shapes.
Does the flooring reduce noise?
Rolls and tiles with a felt backing cut impact noise by up to 19 dB.
What happens to old flooring?
The factory takes back old Bolon floors and recycles them.
