Modelec switches are machined from solid brass, steel or aluminium. You choose the finish of the toggle, button and plate separately.

Modelec has made switches and sockets in Méru, near Paris, since 1976. It has seven collections, including M, Confidence and Fascination, all made in France.

The M collection has 13 plate finishes and 13 button finishes, and you can mix them freely.

The M plate is 5 mm thick; a single plate measures 80 × 80 mm. It was designed by Valérie Mazerat.

We’ll match the plate colour to the door handles and taps so the metals don’t clash.

We count the quantities, follow the order and hand the electrician the specification.

Which sockets does Modelec make?

French 2P+T, German Schuko and Swiss sockets, plus RJ45, TV/FM/SAT, HDMI and USB chargers.

Can the plate be engraved?

Yes: text or a design from the client’s sketch.

What are the plates made of?

Solid metal: brass, steel or aluminium. In the Confidence collection the plate is solid brass.

Who installs the switches?

Your electrician. We work out the quantities and pass them the specification.
