Brokis in Barcelona
Brokis is Czech glass on wood and rope. The shades are blown by hand at a glassworks that has been running since 1809.
The glassworks is older than the brand
Brokis is a Czech lighting brand. Its glassworks in Janštejn is 140 km from Prague. There the glass is blown by hand and combined with wood and metal. The catalogue covers indoor and outdoor lighting and battery-powered lamps.
Four collections
- 01 Muffins Table, floor and pendant lamps by Lucie Koldová and Dan Yeffet. The factory calls Muffins the emblem of the brand.
- 02 Knot Pendants by Chiaramonte Marin: a coarse rope runs through a clear glass globe and ends in a knot.
- 03 Shadows Four pendants by Koldová and Yeffet: a glass shade sits on a wooden body.
- 04 Night Birds Pendants by Boris Klimek: glass silhouettes of birds in flight. The factory spent two years developing the technique.
