Inalco in Barcelona
Inalco makes MDi slabs — including a worktop with induction hidden underneath. We’ll show you samples at the Betton showroom and help you choose the thickness for a kitchen, bathroom or wall.
A slab you cook on
The induction is built into the MDi worktop: you can’t see the cooking zones, and the pan goes straight onto the slab. The surface resists stains, scratches and knocks, and cools quickly.
- NO VISIBLE COOKING ZONES
- RESISTS STAINS AND SCRATCHES
- COOLS QUICKLY
Inalco makes MDi ceramic slabs in Alcora, in the province of Castellón. The factory says MDi stands for ‘minerals, design, innovation’. The slabs come in sizes up to 1600×3200 mm and in thicknesses of 4, 6, 12 and 20 mm.
In 2014 Inalco launched iTOP large-format slabs in four thicknesses: 4, 6, 12 and 20 mm.
Not just slabs
In its Tailor Made line, the factory adapts slabs to the project. The iBasins washbasins and iShower Trays come from the same line, so the bathroom is made from the same slab as the wall and floor.

Questions about Inalco
Can I order a washbasin from the same slab as the worktop?
Yes. Inalco makes iBasins countertop washbasins from MDi slabs — 60×43 and 117×43 cm — and iShower Trays shower trays. We’ll match them to the slabs on your wall and floor.
Where can I see MDi slabs in Barcelona?
At the Betton showroom, by appointment. Tell us which patterns and thicknesses you need, and we’ll have samples ready for your visit. Address: Carrer de Provença, 22.
How long do Inalco slabs take?
From stock in Spain, 1–2 weeks; from the factory warehouse, 4–6 weeks. We’ll confirm the exact lead time with the price.
Who cuts the slabs for the worktop?
We work out the cutting plan, plan the joints and order the slabs cut for the worktop and niches. Your own fitters install them.
