Kriskadecor in Barcelona
Kriskadecor is a Catalan chain maker. From aluminium links it builds curtains, patterned walls and ceilings; one of its curtains hangs along the staircase of Casa Batlló.
Kriskadecor has made chains in Montblanc, Catalonia, since 1926. The third generation of the Sans family runs the company. The factory makes and anodises the links itself.
What chains are made into
- 01 Partitions and curtains The chains hang from straight or curved rails, fixed or sliding. Density: standard or with offset rows.
- 02 Patterned walls Coloured chains form images and patterns: reels of different colours are combined like threads on a loom.
- 03 Ceilings and lighting The same chains make suspended structures and light fittings. There are options for acoustics and for outdoor use.

Can I have my own design made in chains?
Yes. The factory lays out images and patterns in coloured chains. Send us a sketch and the wall dimensions, and we’ll pass them on for a quote.
What colours do the chains come in?
Anodising colours the links and makes them harder; the finish is gloss or satin. Epoxy coating gives any RAL or Pantone colour.
Can the curtain slide?
Yes. The chains hang from straight or curved rails, fixed or sliding.
