Luxes in Barcelona
Luxes is a local factory: it is in Cabrera de Mar, near Barcelona. People come to it not for a catalogue chandelier but with a ceiling drawing: the lighting is calculated and made for the project.
Luxes started in 2004 selling lighting, then moved to its own LED lights and bespoke work. The factory calculates the lighting, changes a light’s shape, output, colour temperature and finish, and makes one from scratch if needed. Its clients are architects of hotels, restaurants, offices and museums.
Four systems from the catalogue
- 01 Corvus System Arcs, circles and waves, suspended and surface-mounted. There are versions with acoustic filling and in RAL colours.
- 02 Klever System A 48 V track: adjustable spots, linear modules and pendants. Controlled via DALI.
- 03 Sedona Collection One body is surface-mounted, suspended or recessed. The optics and trim change without touching the installation.
- 04 Allium Series Globes that rotate 350°: recessed, surface-mounted, wall, suspended and track.

Glowing outlines instead of a chandelier
Pendants in this collection are assembled by hand from geometric outlines. In the games room of the Blau residence in Barcelona hang a circle, a square and a triangle — like gamepad buttons.

Large projects
At the Tangier casino, Luxes built a 400 m² light “diamond” on the ceiling: it took 300 metres of LED lines. For the Nerja cave in Málaga it made lights for high humidity — their light slows fungal growth on the rock.

Can I order a light that isn’t in the catalogue?
Yes. Luxes makes a light from scratch for a project or changes a standard one: optics, finish, control and mounting.
Is there lighting for façades and gardens?
Yes, the Axent collection: the compact UFO floodlight, the Spirit linear wall washer and the powerful Voyager floodlight.
How is the Klever track controlled?
Via the DALI protocol. The track can be made with Tunable White, which lets you change the colour temperature.
How long do Luxes lights take?
It depends on whether the light is standard or bespoke. We’ll give you the lead time with the price.
Where can I see Luxes in Barcelona?
